Forge Mill Needle Museum and Bordesley Abbey Visitor Centre have numerous events throughout the year, and we always look forward to our annual Heritage Open Day. On this site we have tried to give an on-line experience of what you can expect to see at the museum, using slide shows, videos and other techniques. We are hoping that everything will be back to normal in 2021 and we can welcome visitors back for a full season of exhibitions, events and tours.

in 1138, continuing through the Industrial Revolution, with
the development of the town for the manufacture of needles,
fish hooks and other products, and on to Redditch being
designated as a ‘New Town’ and the subsequent changes
associated with this..”
